Made by grinding rice turning it into a fine or course powder by the process of milling.
Commonly used in South Indian dishes like dosa, idli, uttapam, vada, kozhi pidi, kozhukattai and upma. Rice flour makes a great addition to pakora batter. It is also used as a thickening agent in recipes that are refrigerated or frozen since it inhibits liquid separation.
