Soya beans or 'soybeans' are a type of legume native to Eastern Asia. Widely grown for its edible seed which has numerous uses.
The primary usage of soya bean is in soya food products; includes soya milk or soymilk, soy sauce, breakfast cereals and bars, margarine, salad dressing, etc. Also used to make vegetable oil and flour.
Whole soya beans are ideal for making veggie patties, soy bean curry and can be added to soups and stews.
